Lux Helper — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
What Lux Helper is
Lux Helper is a browser extension that connects your browser to your own Lux
workspace (lux.bem.solutions) so your Lux assistant can perform
actions you ask for on web pages — opening pages, reading page content,
clicking, and filling fields — with sensitive actions gated by your explicit
approval.
What it accesses
- Your Lux session token, read from your signed-in Lux tab,
stored locally in the browser, and used only to authenticate the
connection to your Lux server.
- The content of the page you direct Lux to act on (e.g.
visible text, the element you ask it to click or fill), only at the time
of an action you requested.
How it is used
Solely to carry out the actions you ask your Lux assistant to perform, by
sending those actions and results between your browser and your own
configured Lux server (default lux.bem.solutions).
What it does NOT do
- It does not sell or share your data with third parties.
- It does not use your data for advertising or any purpose
unrelated to performing your requested actions.
- It does not enter passwords, card, or bank details, and
does not solve CAPTCHAs — those are blocked by design.
- It does not continuously harvest your browsing; it reads
or acts only when you ask Lux to do something.
Storage & retention
Connection settings (server URL and session token) are stored locally in the
browser via the extension's storage and are removed when you remove the
extension or clear its data. Action data is transient — used only to complete
the requested action.
